Due to the annual bike race on 1 May, there are many road blocks in and around Oberursel between 9:00 – 14:00.
If you plan on taking a day trip somewhere, then leave your home early that day.

Our current guest, Lady, enjoys the beer balcony too. I suppose she experiences her own ‘dog days of summer’ during this current heat wave. Lady, our charge for two weeks until tomorrow. We will miss her.
This morning, as I walked out to the zweite Wohnzimmer (endearing term for a German’s balcony), I had this scenery before me.
