I have already put on my traveling shoes and will leave for Japan with the following proverb:
井の中の蛙大海を知らず
Literal translation: A frog in a well does not know the great sea.
I am ready for the 10-hour jump!

I attest to this proverbs with mucho gusto!!
It is so true ^ until we leave our own pond to realizr that we have lived in such a small world with people who held the same belifes. There was not intruder and no competorots, we get comfortable perhaps too much. We get disconnetcted with what is going on with the world, and end up being left behind.
By leaving our own pond, we realize how to adjust our own referenve point, and that is very educational and revolutional. That forces us to adjust to the new standard and make peace with the new accord.
