Before you take out-of-town visitors to one of the many Biergarten and pubs in Oberursel, stop by  St. Ursula Church in the beautiful Altstadt with its half-timbered houses.

The support group of St. Ursula church has once again opened its museum and tower to visitors.

Once the 168 steps have been ascended, there will be a marvelous view over the Altstadt, all of Oberursel, and far into the Taunus, Odenwald, Spessart and Vogelsberg regions.

The museum containing 500 years of parish history is also well worth a visit.

Hours of operation: Every first Saturday – from May until October – between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Note: If you enter the tower at 3:00, you will reach the belfry in time to listen to the bell ringing. It is supposed to be quite an experience!

During the Oberurseler Brunnenfest (5- 8 June 2009), the tower and the museum are open to the public on Saturday AND Sunday.
