		<description>Another problem is often that the supermarkets have different prices in the tills to those displayed on the shelves.  Try argue that with a cashier, and more often than not a supervisor will accompany you to the shelf to go and check.  Meanwhile, the rest of the queue gets upset about you holding up a till for the sake of a few cents!</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t think it is just the children being short changed, it happens enough to adults as well.  The trouble is, that even if it is an honest mistake, the children are easier targets

(1) because they may, as in your case, wait for their parents and not tell the cashier straight away

(2) not be taken seriously by a busy cashier, who doesn&#039;t like being told by a child that they&#039;ve made a mistake

I&#039;ve noticed that since the Euro arrived, cashiers no longer count out the change so much.  ie. starting at the amount to pay and counting up to the amount handed over, coins first, notes later.

I see this in the supermarkets in Oberursel as well, and a lot of people just put the change straight into their pockets or wallets without checking it first.</description>
