Low-Cost Parking near Hahn Airport
As we have booked our flights to Sardinia with Ryanair for next summer, I gradually try to collect more information not only about our stay there, but also on parking our car either at or near Frankfurt-Hahn airport.
One of my friends recommended this little parking business just 6 km outside of Hahn in the little town of Sohren (population of 3,600). I was told this was put together by some former farmers who converted their unproductive fields into a nice little business opportunity. The rates are very decent – in our case: 15 days at a charge of € 2,20 per day totals € 33,00. So if you are leaving from Frankfurt-Hahn airport next time, you might want to consider parking there. I know we will.
Their website Parken am Hahn offers the following services:
* Friendly and reliable staff
* Individual transfers (included in the fee), therefore less waiting time.
* Assistance in luggage transfer
* No long walks around the parking lot
* Use of toilette is free of charge
Personally, the last one is my favorite one listed! Not only is using the toilette for free becoming a rare thing around airports/train stations/Autobahn restaurants in Germany, but its mention also strikes me as being quaint.
Visit their website for more information about winter specials, car wash services, etc.
